Dodsland and District Credit Union has utilized both the Board 360 Platform and TLC Platform for a few years. It has been extremely valuable to our board as it provides great training at an affordable price that can be completed from the comfort of their home and on their schedule. LCU is a small CU in west central Saskatchewan and due to our geographical location it can be difficult for board members to attend training sessions due to the travel time. The Board 360 platform allows them to gain the knowledge they seek, from the comfort of their own home. This has eased the burden on new board members and also gives our incumbents a chance to refresh their knowledge. LCU also utilizes the TLC platform and it has provided the staff with a great option to complete their annual AML training as well as a multitude of other courses. Vision CU has used TLC Platform since 2012 and the Board 360 since 2017. The TLC program has been great. It is visually pleasing, and easy to navigate. The content is keep up to date. The admin side is great for assigning courses and personalizing any additional information to your CU and great for tracking. Our Board enjoys being able to take courses on their own time, from anywhere they have their laptop and internet. The courses are short but informative. A great option for those that do not want to participate in a class room setting.

The TLC is very important to Community Credit Union as this sets the stage for our continued yearly learning in regards to required Anti Money laundering. All new employees who are hired, it is mandatory they go through this training before seeing members. Existing staff have to refresh their learning, as there is continued changes that come out from FINTRAC. As an administrator/CAMLO it helps to see learning completed and track progress, so all employees have net the mandatory learning. We recently had a FINTRAC audit on site and was asked to show proof of learning. I was able to show my 2018 results and list of employees with all the completed modules. We set the bar high with a 90% pass mark on all our courses. The auditor was impressed with the detail, dates, course names and marks. We also use the other courses besides the AML to help monitor completion each fiscal year. As mentioned a great tool to have in regards to continued learning and monitoring.
