Ontario Self-Assessments to be Added to Board 360

CU Training is adding competency self-assessments and reports to Board 360 that are consistent with Deposit Insurance Corporation of Ontario assessments, and are specifically for use by Ontario credit unions. The self-assessments include:

  • Overall Competency
  • Audit and Compliance
  • Board and CEO Performance
  • Credit Union Operations
  • Financial Literacy
  • Governance and Ethics
  • Leadership and Communication
  • Regulatory Environment
  • Risk Management
  • Strategic Planning

Each self-assessment will include a report for individual directors, as well as an aggregated report of scores for the entire board.
